Blanca at the restaurant was incredible. She did a wonderful job managing and waiting on the breakfast crowd.
The hotel location is great, and the hotel facilities are top notch. All the staff are professional and polite. I would definitely recommend staying at this Marriott property

I recently stayed at the Marriott Las Colinas and overall had a pleasant experience, but there were a few standout pros and cons worth mentioning.

The Good:
Room Design: The rooms are nicely decorated with contemporary touches, thoughtful lighting, and a beautiful painting on the wall. The nook by the large windows is a great spot to relax, read, or enjoy the view.

Amenities: The room included a coffee machine and a complimentary bottle of water, which is always a welcome touch.
Facilities: There’s a well-equipped workout room and a small but sufficient swimming pool on the first floor. Both are great additions if you like to stay active during your trip.

Location: The hotel is conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from the Irving Convention Center—perfect for anyone attending an event or conference there.

Lake View: If you’re booking a room, definitely request a higher floor with a lake or pond view. It’s absolutely worth it. the view is stunning (check out the attached picture).

The Not-So-Good:
Housekeeping Disturbance: Unfortunately, housekeeping knocked on my door loudly at 8 AM on the day of my checkout and even attempted to enter. This happened again at 10 AM, even though checkout time is 11 AM. It felt intrusive and unnecessary, and it disrupted what should have been a relaxing morning.

Other Notes:
There was a slight musky smell in the hallways and the room, but it wasn’t overwhelming—just something to be aware of.

Overall a good place to stay. I would recommend it.

My first impression of this hotel has been 3.5 stars. No hand soap in the lobby bathrooms, Wi-Fi does not easily work, outdated building, certain things are beyond outdated. Customer service is great, lobby is beautiful, so is the location.

Veronica at the front desk was the best and helped make my check in/out super easy. She's a superstar at the hotel. My room was spacious and modern, with a great east side view of the lake. Make sure you put your privacy or do not disturb sign on the door, otherwise housekeeping will come in to clean your room daily. Parking was a little crowded due to the expo and 5k that were going on during my stay, but I still got good parking. Nearby eateries are great too. Loved the whole atmosphere of the Irving hotel area near the convention center and toyota music factory.

I stayed two nights for a piping conference. My room didn't really need much in the way of cleaning between the two nights. When I got back to my room I found my bed was made and beyond that my pill box, my tooth paste, my tooth brush, and even my drink cup were all neatly arranged on a face flannel on the side of the sink. It was just so nice! It's the little things. Thanks again for a great room and a good conference.

Overall outstanding hotel. The staff from the front desk, housekeeping and kitchen staff all outstanding. The concierge lounge is a lifesaver. The only issue is the room service was not available on my first night, not sure if that was a continued problem. You arrive after a long flight day and then have to come back down to order and/or go out to get food. Otherwise the fitness center was great. Nice equipment, towels, water, modern machines. Rower needs a new monitor or replacement batteries.

Booked a room as part of a wedding block. Arrived at noon and was told there were no rooms available. Had to wait almost an hour to get our room, so we waited in the lounge with all our luggage. Once we get our room, the elevators were not working, so we had to walk 10 flights of stairs to get to our room.

This is unacceptable. These rooms were booked months in advance, they should be available when we check in. Having elevators that randomly do not work is not a good look for a hotel with 15 floors.

I would not recommend anyone book a room here. I would never recommend anyone get a hotel block for a wedding here, where it is time sensitive and guests have to get ready in a timely manner to arrive to the wedding on time. I would recommend any other hotel over this one.
